Well code, we finally disagree.
I had a UO crank pulley on my ride for 13 months/7000 miles. No problems here!
I only took it off because it's incompatible with the JRSC.
Going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing that other guy was young and beat the bejesus out of his car. (Not that there's anything wrong with that
but you gotta pay to play, right?)
YMMV.

Actually I think swapping out the power steering and A/C pulley's would be a good idea. Less load for the motor if you spin them slower. Don't know if it's worth the money, but I'd consider it.

My personal car gained 3.3 HP at the wheels by adding the AEM power pulley set. I then switched them out for an Unorthodox crank pulley (single groove only for the alternator - I ditched the A/C and the P/S) and I gained a whopping 8.8 WHP !!! Once I added the JR blower, I had to ditch it. The best part of this is that Oscar himself told me that the crank needs a pulley that is very close to the same weight as the OE... and having the dampener in it is even better. He says that the "Long-term" effects of the lightweight pulley can be dangerous.
